The teaching framework of the curriculum at the Primary and Middle Levels focus on student's outcomes in different learning areas, including life and career skills, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, technology and information/media literacy and core academic subjects.

Teaching starts with an outline of learning objectives. Topics begin with a knowledge harvest and set questions to be answered which are revisited at end of topic to see if all questions have been answered. Lessons end with a discussion about learning that has just taken place and next lesson in subject begins with brief recap and link to current and future learning.

This way, the classroom practice is student-centered to engage all students in learning. Appropriate homework activities at periodic intervals, interspersed with projects, seminars and interactive sessions help consolidate learning across all areas.
